To expedite the construction of 1000 Mohalla Clinics, government may rent premises in areas where there is no land available for the construction. An official added that renting premises is an easier and faster option for the same.
So far, only 191 Mohalla Clinics are operational in the capital. In a recent survey, 390 sites were found feasible to carry out the operations of these clinics. Besides that government is also planning to set 150 polyclinics as in the year 2017-18 no new polyclinic has been established.
The construction of these porta cabins where the Mohalla clinics could be operationalised is on in 146 places for now!
