Sumit, who calls himself KAKU is a 15-year-old son of a peon hailing from the Bhanwar Singh Camp in Vasant Vihar, who has been rapping since the past five years. He is highly sentimental about the social issues happening around him and expresses his emotions through his catchy lyrics. He strolls through the lanes of his slum humming lines on the go, getting all heads turning towards him.
He had written poems on Pulwama, Nirbhaya and many other alarming incidents that had shaken up the society. The aspiring rapper had even penned down his thoughts on water conservation, after noticing ample wastage of water in his neighbouring areas.
This kiddo rapper has been featured in We Are The Champions, a book by Rashmi Bansal and Devendra Tak. He was even called up on a radio channel where he chatted with the renowned rapper Ikka Singh, whom he considers to be his inspiration.
He has already been featured in various T.V. shows, magazines, books and even on YouTube. We await the release of his debut at the soonest.
