The 58 kms long pink line of Delhi Metro, running from Shiv Vihar to Majlis park, is the longest and one of the busiest routes in the city. However, the unavailability of land between Trilokpuri and Mayur Vihar Phase-1 had left a 4 km gap between these two stations, dividing the pink route into two halves. DMRC has started the groundwork to shift the occupants residing in this crucial stretch and clear off the space to construct railway lines and bridge up this discontinuity. And the project is targeted to be pulled off by September 2020.
