What To Expect?
Maati is an initiative to celebrate the Purvanchali spirit within Delhi NCR by bringing together artisans, merchants, traditional chefs and performers from Purvanchal to let them showcase their products and talents to the city peeps. The first edition of this festival had taken place in 2018. Like every year, this year too, the festival will witness singing performances by folk forms like Lok Gayan, Budhh Se Kabeer Tak Band, Sohar, Chaiti, Aalhas and Birha, dance presentations like Laonda Ka Nacch, Kisan Ka Naach and Nautanki, display of handworks like Bhadohi’s carpets, Banarasi saris, Nizamabad pottery and loads more.
