The Delhi Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) is distributing saplings as “prasad” and promoting tree plantation to mark the 550th birth anniversary year of Guru Nanak Dev.
This initiative was taken considering the lower levels of pollution around the city. Around 55,000 new environmental friendly species are likely to be planted this year by fresher students who got admission in the nine colleges of Delhi University.
