In 2019, New Delhi was the most polluted city in the world. Post lockdown and curfew, Delhi has seen a drastic change in its pollution levels and now is in the moderate category of air pollution post lockdown in the city.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, Delhi’s overall air quality index stood at 112, which falls in the ‘moderate’ category. Thanks to lesser number of vehicles on the road.
The India Meteorological Department said light rains are expected in Delhi that will also contribute to the betterment of the air condition.
