Winter is coming, so is the rising level of pollution in Delhi. Curbing the levels of pollution can be a little worrisome for the authorities. Good news or bad, the infamous odd-even scheme is back!
The scheme starts from November 4 to November 15. The scheme is implemented before the usual time is simply because of the aggravated pollution levels after the Diwali mayhem. You may have to pay a fine of ₹20,000 if you violate the rules.
The odd-even scheme has been implemented in Delhi since the past 2016. Exemptions in the earlier years included: two-wheelers, women drivers, CNG vehicles, hybrid vehicles, VVIP and embassy cars. Although, no such rules have been rolled out yet.
