Delhi Metro’s Magenta Line connecting Kalkaji & Janakpuri will be open by next week. In fact, with the opening of the line, commuters from Noida and South Delhi will directly be able to travel all the way to the airport!!
The approval for the line came on Tuesday and the inauguration will be held early next week.
Moreover, the new section will have 16 stations —
Janakpuri West, Dabri Mor, Dashrath Puri, Palam, Sadar Bazar Cantonment, Terminal-1 Indira Gandhi International Airport, Shankar Vihar, Vasant Vihar
Munirka, RK Puram, IIT, Hauz Khas, Panchsheel Park, Chirag Delhi, Greater Kailash, and Nehru Enclave.
Additionally, interchange facility will be available at Janakpuri West (for the Blue Line) and Hauz Khas (for the Yellow Line).
So, as the new line gets inaugurated, brace yourselves for a faster travel network.
