Lifeline of Delhi, the metro has made travelling more convenient and pocket-friendly for the capital city. Now when all metro stations have been closed in wake of the lockdown, these stations have become home for CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) personnel in the meantime.

254 Metro stations in Delhi are temporarily housing around 2,500 CISF personnel who have been shifted out of their barracks to decongest them and ensure social distancing in this pandemic. This personnel now perform their duties, sleep, eat, spend their leisure time and bathe at these Metro stations.
