In simple words, Delhi Metro is the only 100% green system in the world. By adhering to green building norms for residential colonies the Indian Green Building Council conferred the platinum rating to Delhi Metro!

Wondering what we meant by this?

Delhi Metro has become the foremost and world’s foremost champion of ‘going green’! The system follows all green building norms for 10 of its residential colonies that it passes via.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation had worked extremely hard to significantly reduce carbon-footprints across its premises! Thus, DMRC was the first one to become a green Metro. The platinum ratings they have got is very hard earned and a lot of toil has gone into the process.
