Know It All In 30 Seconds
Delhi transport is the lifeline of the city. Buses witness lakhs of passengers getting off their destination every day. Post-lockdown the bus journey might see a different avatar as to maintain social distancing in public transport.
Not more than 20 persons will be allowed in these 40-seater buses. Passengers will sit in every alternate seat diagonally. Cashless transactions would be encouraged. Passengers can pay through smart cards. Wearing of masks will also be compulsory. Sanitisers will be placed inside the buses.
Putting a cap on the number of passengers on a bus will be a difficult task to achieve since Delhi already is short of 5000 buses at present.
