Washrooms at the airport will be closed after every hour to sanitise all surfaces. Airport authorities will encourage passengers to wear facemasks and maintain social distancing for which visually impactful designs at various places will be used.

DIAL will also encourage passengers to check-in at home or use self-check-in facilities, self-bag tag and other measures. They also plan to install UV machines to sanitise checked baggage. For the safety of passengers and staff, trolleys will be disinfected after each use.
