Films are a form of mass media and act as major influencers to minds young and old alike. It’s important that we as a society use this medium to spread positive messages and influence children to be better people. Smile Foundation’s Smile International Film Festival For Children and Youth is an initiative that does exactly that.

Its strongly believed that film represents much more than entertainment; this is the most powerful medium to depict the reality and emulate values. Film becomes an interesting and engaging alternative to stimulate discussion among young people about vital personal, societal, moral and world issues.

What To Expect At The Event?

SIFFCY 2018 celebrates meaningful and socially relevant cinema in its fourth edition. More than 150 films from over 30 countries will be showcased which includes 9 feature films & 16 short films in the international competition section and others are in other different non-competitive sections, of Feature, Shorts and documentaries, Oscar nominated & films made by children.

What You’ll Love About The Event? 

Apart from the various film screenings, there will be a number of other events like filmmaking workshops, international competitions, yellow carpets for children and of course there will be awards and recognitions at the end of the week long festival.
