The terminal took 37 months to complete. According to 2015 data; it is the 25th busiest airport in the world with a passenger capacity of up to 34 million per year.

Delhi’s T3 is the only airport in India with 3 runways. This system allowing parallel take offs and landing, making it one of the busiest airports in the world!
