Know it all in 30 seconds
Majnu-ka-tila is a famous, affordable and go-to place for everyone but apart from cutsy cafes, Laphing is also something it is famous for. Laphing is a tibetian dish made from cold mung bean and potato starch with ghee, flour/soyabean filling with spice masala sauce!
1. Tenzing Aunty’s
In front of the buddist monastery in the centre of MKT, you’ll find Tenzing Aunty making this flavoursome dish. If you don’t have a good threshold for spices, oh boy, you’ll end up running for sweets!
2. Stall Near Nguyen House
This small place is run by two men and you’ll also get a place to sit while you are gobbling the entire the bowl. You can try dry laphing and laphing with gravy also, it will be worth it!
3. Stall Near The Monastery
When you’ll visit MKT, you’ll find a lot of small stalls from where you can try laphing but this vendor is super friendly and sits at the corner, the style of preparation is also unique so definitely check this one out, guys!
4. Stall @ Gate no. 2
Laphing is such a great snack to get you going while you are busy shopping and getting things sorted. When you’ll enter from gate no. 2, you just have to walk 20 footstep and you can easily find this stall!
5. Isori’s Laphing
