Delhi is a city that is full of budding talent, who do not miss a chance to bring laurels to the country! And LST-INIFD just added another name to the list.

Aman Khaneja, a 19-years old first-year Fashion Design student at LST-INIFD, Delhi showcased his stunning capsule collection at Fashion Scout during London Fashion Week and we couldn’t have felt prouder.

LST, as well as the city, are beaming with pride at the achievements of this young designer.

Aman was also featured in British Vogue as part of a 111-page coverage received by LST-INIFD with their complete collection! His designs were even borrowed by students from London College of Fashion for their styling project.

His collection started off as an inspiration from Women Empowerment. His designs depicted chains & locks in embroideries showing how women continue to be contained by many in our society who oppose their freedom.

But he eventually altered his theme with a more positive outlook by modifying the designs to depict open chains and locks. Birds symbolising the freedom of a woman to fly high became a key component of his design.

The achievements of this young designer are something that people fail to achieve in a lifetime, and we hope that he doesn’t stop here!
