This children’s day all the kids and the parents of the city will be going to DLF Promenade Mall for an exciting new event that promises to leave the audience gaping and asking for more. DLF will be hosting the best & biggest stars of street performances under one roof, all to make this Children’s day one that kids and adults will remember for a long time.
For the first time in India 5 International Superstars of Street Theater will be performing at DLF Promenade Mall on 13th & 14th of November 2016 at the hub. Each of the artists will perform and host multiple shows on both days which will followed up with an interactive session with the audience.
The list of artists who will be performing next week runs as follows:
• Dynamike
Michael Anthony Bonnici a.k.a. “Dynamike”, member of the street artist community based out of Vancouver, Canada, is an award winning busker who performs continuously around the world – having already performed in Holland, the UK & Oman, as well as on Granville Island. Why does he love busking? Reason so simple – “In a world full of bad news and bad attitudes, busking is a breath of fresh air. It makes people feel good in simple ways. It’s fun and good for people”, he was quoted saying.
He will be performing on both days of the event at 4:30 p.m. and again at 9:30 p.m. The shows will last 30 minutes each.
• Katay Santos
One of the biggest Big Circus Show Performer, Katay Santos, underwent intensive training in the circus schools of Cuba & Wuqiao (China) coupled with two years of sharing the streets of Caracas with some of it’s biggest artists. He now brings his fun filled, intensive and breathtaking act using chairs, risk performances with Chinese pots among other things, to Delhi.
He will be performing at 3:30 p.m. & again at 8:30 p.m. on both days with each performance lasting 30 minutes.
• DADO
Daniel Warr, also known as DADO, is a street performer, magician and clown. He has been performing professionally under the stage name DADO for over a decade now with a reputation in various acts such as clown, magician and mime. He was trained by greats like Daniel Stein, Bob Burke, Jeff Raz & Tony Montanaro. DADO known for both physical comedy and his mind boggling skills, is known as one of the best balloon sculptor.
He has, over the years, created a character based clown that is both stylistic & innovative. He will be performing at 2:30 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m. on both days. Both shows will last for 30 minutes each.
• Maple Staplegun
Amelia (Maple) is an Australian performer who has wowed people in over 20 countries with her skills. Maple Staplegun – her stage name – has escaped from the office & onto the streets ready to prove to the world that she is no ordinary secretary. She boasts of skills requiring the need of hula hoops, office items & a quirky attitude.
With amazing hula hoop manipulations mixed with absurd improvisations & physical comedy, her audience never fails to gasp with excitement. Drawing on traditional circus ring techniques, Maple creates a melodrama that involves her death & rescue by volunteer firemen in the nick of time, so she can perform her most amazing hula-hoop stunt. She will be performing at 1:30 p.m. & again at 6:30 p.m. on both days. Each show will last 30 minutes.
• The TNT Show
Artist Francisco Luis Vita Roldan originally from Spain has been performing live in front of people around the world and especially in Europe and the USA. He will be entertaining the audience with his comic timing. He will also be setting up a comedy circus for a fun filled evening.
He will be performing at 12:30 p.m. and again at 5:30 p.m. on both days. The shows will last 30 minutes each.
