After fashion and real estate, Versace is now planning to bring its range of Italian made high-end furniture to India and we couldn’t have been any more thrilled!

Italian Fashion and lifestyle major, Versace is planning to bring its range of furniture in India to tap into the fast-growing luxury market in India.

Presently furniture is the only product category in their portfolio, that is not available in India.

While the timeline of the launch has not been shared yet, it was announced that they do not want to compromise on the quality, and thus the furniture would be made in Italy and then sold via local distributors.

Founded in 1978, in Milan. Gianni Versace is one of the leading international fashion design houses globally. It designs, manufactures, distributes, and retails fashion and lifestyle products which include haute couture, accessories, jewelry, watches, eyewear, fragrances, and home furnishings.

Last week, Versace and realty firm Unity Group had announced a tie-up for developing Delhi’s tallest building, comprising 160 luxury apartments. This would be Versace’s second real estate project in India. The first is in Mumbai.
