Dilli walo! Be prepared to pay more parking fair in November. As if DMRC hiking its travel fair wasn’t enough, now, paying for parking will also be heavier on your pockets.

As per the new rules, parking fair of all parking lots across the city will rise. The minimum fare will be decided by the Parking Based  Fee (PBF) committee which is headed by the transport commissioner.

According to a draft copy of the rules with Hindustan Times, ‘On-street parking would be priced at least thrice as much as off-street parking. And towing charges for violation of no-parking or overstay in authorized parking would be much higher than on-street parking fee.

Maybe it’s time to start saving for travelling and metro fares!
