4. Auro Kitchen & Bar

We’re happy to report that Bandstand and Summer House Cafe have outdone themselves with Auro. The terrace is massive and mostly done up in mellow grey and yellow. The highlight is the large bar situated at one end, which is actually a shipping container with lots of woodwork and brass lighting inside. In short, it’s gorgeous.

Add to this their regular live music {they’re deviating from the Bandstand and Summer House usuals and keeping it Hindi here} and you have yourself the perfect evening.

5. People & Co.

It’s been a while now since Delhi witnessed some great food festivals! Well, ‘People & Co.’ in Gurgaon literally takes the cake in the matter with their new venture. The restaurant has started an all you can eat buffet system wherein you pay for the time spent eating the decadent food, rather than the food that you ordered. People & Co. host the event every Monday & Tuesday wherein the guests pay 15 rupees for every minute spent there. The total payable amount then adds up to the amount of time you spend eating at the venue. Now that’s a deal worth spending your last 15 rupees on! Their menu full of decadent food offers dimsums, barbecue buffallo wings with blue cheese dip, hand cut fries with barbecue sauce & mornay sauce among others.

Ordering steak in Jama Masjid may not be the best idea. But their Malai Fish Steak is heaven on earth. The dish is simply fish malai tikka infused with garlic. So, in case you’re a vampire, we would suggest you ‘jhanda gadho’ somewhere else.
